Features of Onion

Height to 36-48 inches. Spread to 6-12 inches. Zone 4-9. Biennial.

hollow, linear, long leaf.

clustered, greenish-white, star-shaped flower in summer.

  • by bulb during spring. Onion sets are small bulbs grown from overcrowded seeds in the first year. They are then set out and grow into maturity.
