Features of Oregano
Height to 6-36 inches. Spread to 6-36 inches. Zone 5-9. Perennial.

aromatic, lance-shaped, ovate leaf.
clustered, pink or purple, tiny flower in summer.
Growing Oregano
- by cutting during spring. Take softwood cuttings from growing tips.
- by root division during spring.
- by seed during spring.
- protection: Protect from cold winter.
- thinning: 12 to 18 inches apart.
- transplant: 12 to 18 inches apart.
- trimming: Trim after flowering period, and cut back before winter.
