Features of Sweet Rocket

Height to 24-36 inches. Spread to 10 inches. Zone 4. Biennial.

Growing Sweet Rocket

A native to Italy, fragrant flowers of sweet rocket smell ever sweeter in the evening, giving rise to its other name, vesper flower.

While sweet rocket is not widely used in food or medicine, the seed yields a valuable essential oil for perfumes.

Dried flowers can also be added to potpourri for scent and colour.
